Summer/Autumn work placements
Deighton Pierce Glynn believes there should be a better representation of our diverse society in the legal profession and this summer/autumn offers placements of between two and four weeks at their offices in London Bridge and Angel. The placements are open to those who have shown an active interest in the law, justice, equality issues and/or social or political campaigns or work on behalf of disadvantaged people.
This year our positive action scheme is for disabled people, ethnic minorities, black and Asian people, and those facing socio-economic disadvantage. The work placements are paid and will take place between mid-August and mid-November 2014.
To apply please email us at recruitment@dpglaw.co.uk, sending your CV with a brief explanation in the covering email as to why you qualify for our scheme and setting out what barriers you face, and/or have faced so far, to becoming a solicitor. When applying, please confirm your availability for the period indicated above. Please put “summer/autumn placement 2014” in the subject heading of your email.
The deadline for applications is noon on Friday 1 August 2014.
