Linklaters LLP/BSN City Group Event: Inspired to Succeed – Black History Month Event

October is Black History Month. To mark the occasion, Linklaters and the Black Solicitors Network (City Branch) are delighted to invite you to an evening event entitled ‘Inspired to Succeed‘.

Guest speakers:

Zeinab Badawi is our moderator and chair for this event. Zeinab co-hosted Channel 4 News for nine years, before joining the BBC. She currently presents World News Today for BBC Four and BBC World News.

Sandie Okoro (panellist) is General Counsel at Baring Asset Management Limited. Prior to joining Barings, Sandie was Head of Legal for Corporate Services at Schroders and managed the Schroders’ Legal Panel.

Ravi Chand, CBE (panellist) is Head of Capability, Talent and Diversity at the Home Office. Ravi is a former President of the National Black Police Association and holder of the Queen’s Police Medal for distinguished service to the Police Service.

Our aim is to celebrate achievement during a month dedicated to promoting knowledge of Black culture, heritage and history and disseminating information on positive contributions Black, Asian, Minority and Ethnic individuals have made to British society.
