Linklaters/BSN – In conversation with Emma Dabiri
September 16, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
After a year in which we have been confronted with the reality of racism, many of us are considering how our actions and words of support can effect real and meaningful change.
As part of Linklaters’ annual Diversity Week and in collaboration with the Black Solicitors Network as part of our Authenticity event series, we are delighted to be able welcome Emma Dabiri to share her insights with us, cutting through the haze of online discourse to offer clear advice.
Emma Dabiri is a teaching fellow in the African department at SOAS, a Visual Sociology PhD researcher at Goldsmiths and the author of bestselling books Don’t Touch My Hair and What White People Can Do Next. She has presented several television and radio programmes including BBC Radio 4’s critically-acclaimed documentaries ‘Journeys into Afro-futurism’ and ‘Britain’s Lost Masterpieces’.
RSVP today! Don’t miss out.
