Law Society Committee Vacancies
LAW SOCIETY COMMITTEE VACANCIES
The Law Society of England and Wales is the independent professional body, established for solicitors in 1825, that works globally to support and represent its 166,000 members, promoting the highest professional standards and the rule of law.
Law Society committees help our work by:
• giving advice and guidance about policy, practice and procedures;
• keeping under review, and promoting improvements in, law and practice; and
• supporting and promoting the role of solicitors in their fields.
Committee members use their expertise and experience to help formulate, develop and communicate policy in person at meetings, and/or by post, phone, video-conference or email. They also consider and advise on policy initiatives and proposals, research papers, legal developments, briefings, and consultations. If required, they will also assist with the drafting of papers and responses.
